How do I play?

Drag a tool into the light. Select it and turn its round handle, or use the angle slider. Light every receiver to the stated energy and color requirements. Crossed receivers must stay dark. Hints are always available.

Will my progress be saved?

Your completed experiments and puzzle layouts are saved in this browser on this device. No account is needed. Clearing browser storage also clears your progress.

How does the light simulation work?

A finite-width beam is sampled across 27 wavelengths. Mirrors reflect, prisms refract, and lenses use a thin-lens approximation. Splitters divide energy and filters absorb unwanted wavelengths. This is a geometric optics playground; interference, diffraction and polarization are not simulated.
